Refrigerated display maintenance

Cleaning, temperature and airflow checks, and lighting repairs to keep your refrigerated display working properly.

Checking refrigerated display controls during maintenance

Keep your display fresh

A refrigerated display has to keep the right temperature on every shelf and still look good to the customer. In glass displays and open multidecks that depends on airflow: if fans or air vents are blocked or the evaporator has iced up, the front row warms up first.

During a service we clean the condenser and evaporator, check the fans, airflow, defrost and drain, measure the temperature on the shelves, and inspect the glass, doors, seals and lighting.

What we check

01

Airflow

Fans and air vents, so cold air reaches every shelf.

02

Shelf temperature

We measure the front and back rows.

03

Glass and doors

Seals, hinges and glass heating.

04

Lighting

LED lighting and illuminated canopy.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the display glass fog up?

Moisture condenses on the glass when the room is humid or the glass heating does not work. We check the heating during the service.

How often should a display be serviced?

Condenser cleaning and a general check once or twice a year; more often in a dusty or warm shop.
