Description
Commercial and industrial refrigeration above freezing is what the Tecumseh AEZ 4425 Y hermetic compressor is built for. It runs on R134a in medium and high back pressure (MHBP) duty, with evaporating temperatures of −15…+15 °C. Displacement 7.6 cm³, with a suction-side shut-off valve.
To EN12900, at −10 °C evaporating and +45 °C condensing (suction gas +20 °C, subcooling 10 K) it gives 296 W of refrigerating capacity while drawing 205 W. Peak starting current is 9 A and running current 2.6 A on single-phase 220–240 V / 50 Hz. Brazed connections: suction 1/4" (6.35 mm), discharge 3/16" (4.76 mm).
The compressor is 186 mm high. Foot mounting 170 × 70 mm; net weight 9.8 kg. The oil used must match the refrigerant.
