Description
The HGA 5492 E / PSC is an end-of-stock item: a horizontal scroll compressor from Tecumseh Europe for air conditioners and AC heating. Application range is AC −10…+15 °C, refrigerant R-22, displacement 12.8 cm³. To EN12900 (+5 °C evaporating, +50 °C condensing, +10 °C suction gas, 10 K subcooling) it provides 1936 W of cooling for 640 W input.
Single-phase 220–240 V / 50 Hz supply; starting current up to 16 A, running current 5.2 A. Being horizontal, the compressor is only 147 mm high, with a 203.2 × 122.2 mm foot mounting pattern. Brazed connections are 1/2″ (12.7 mm) suction and 5/16″ (7.9 mm) discharge.
No shut-off valves are fitted, and the oil type must be checked for the refrigerant.
