The SUB ZERO UR90G is a countertop cooler whose temperature can be set below zero, anywhere from −8 to +6 °C. That range suits caviar, which should be kept at −6…0 °C, as well as rapid chilling of drinks. A normal fridge is too warm for caviar and a freezer too cold, and the wrong temperature spoils its quality.
The dark glass door is heated and double-glazed, the internal LED light is cool white, and fan-assisted cooling keeps the temperature even across all three wire shelves. The door locks, the handle is integrated and the right-hand hinging cannot be reversed. Defrost and meltwater evaporation are automatic, with an electronic controller.
