Minibar TD50C

Hotel rooms are the setting for the Tefcold TD50C, a minibar in drawer form made for full integration into furniture such as a nightstand: it has no front panel or handle. The drawer layout gives a good overview of the contents, and a small pull-out drawer inside takes items such as chocolates and miniature bottles.

Cooling comes from a quiet compressor, which reaches a lower temperature and a shorter pull-down time in warm rooms than an absorption minibar. A SLEEP mode keeps the unit silent when required. Static cooling, automatic defrost, an electronic controller and LED lighting; there is no lock.

The exterior is black and the interior white. The minibar holds +5 to +12 °C in climate class 4, refrigerant R600a. The drawer has 52 litres gross and 45 litres net, with internal dimensions of 470 × 395 × 332 mm.

Power is just 40 W, energy use 0.29 kWh per 24 h and noise 38 dBA. Without a front, the drawer measures 550 × 480 × 420 mm and weighs 22 kg; adjustable feet are fitted.
