Description
Part of the Silensys range from Tecumseh Europe, the SIL 4517 Z comes ready for outdoor installation. It handles high-temperature refrigeration (HBP −15…+10 °C) on R-404a or R-507 and suits systems in food shops, supermarkets, warehouses, bakeries, butchers, restaurants, wine cellars and florists.
Standard equipment includes a refrigerant receiver, liquid sight glass, filter drier, crankcase heater, HBP/LBP dual pressure switch, fan-speed controller and compressor contactor. The electrics are pre-wired to a lockable internal panel with a main switch, and brackets allow vertical or horizontal mounting.
Fan-speed control, aerodynamic fan blades and an insulated compressor compartment keep noise down. Refrigerating capacity to EN13215 is 3807 W (20 °C suction superheat, 3 K subcooling) for 1663 W of power input. Airflow 3500 m³/h, receiver 2.35 l, running current 7.5 A rated and 9.4 A maximum, supply 220–240 V / 50 Hz.
Sound power is 67 dBA, with 36 dBA at 10 m and 42 dBA at 5 m. Brazed connections: 5/8″ (16 mm) suction, 3/8″ (10 mm) liquid.
