The IC501SC is a 1550 mm Tefcold display chest freezer; its 491 litres gross (430 litres net) give room for a wider range of ice cream and frozen food in a shop. It keeps goods that are already frozen and is not meant for blast freezing. Two sliding glass lids with a lock cover the cabinet.
The interior is aluminium, there is no interior light, and six baskets are included. Cooling is static, defrosting manual, with a drain for the defrost water. Mechanical controller and digital thermometer; four castors, two with brakes, and the cabinet can be branded.
