The NIC202SCEB is a small ice cream chest from the SCEB range for shops and delis with limited space. Its front is lower than the back and the sliding glass lids are curved, giving a better view of ice cream and other frozen products. Under the lockable lids are LED lighting and two baskets.
Cooling is static with a mechanical thermostat and a thermometer; the manufacturer suggests around −14 °C for ice cream and −21 °C for other frozen goods. Defrosting is manual through a meltwater drain, and the chest is not suited to blast freezing. Four castors, two with brakes, make it easy to move.
Temperature range −14…−24 °C, refrigerant R600a, energy use 1.229 kWh per 24 h, electrical power 200 W, noise level 45 dBA. It holds 126 litres net, 185 litres gross. The chest is 740 mm long, 650 mm deep and 918 mm high, with a 600 × 510 × 571 mm interior; net weight 52 kg.
