The NIC402SCEB is a 1320 mm long display chest suited to small shops as well as petrol stations and supermarkets. Its front is lower than the back and the lids are curved, so ice cream and other frozen products are easy to see. The two sloping curved sliding glass lids lock, the interior light is LED and five baskets are included.
Cooling is static with a mechanical thermostat, and the manufacturer gives about −14 °C for ice cream and about −21 °C for other frozen goods. Defrosting is manual via a meltwater drain, and the chest is not meant for blast freezing. Two of its four castors are braked.
Temperature range −14…−24 °C at ambient temperatures up to +43 °C, refrigerant R290, energy use 2.328 kWh per 24 h, power 300 W, noise level 45 dBA. 388 litres gross, 298 litres net. External dimensions 1320 × 650 × 918 mm (interior 1180 × 510 × 571 mm), net weight 72 kg.
