The partition wall of the freezing compartment doubles as a tray that collects water from thawing ice. The hinged solid lid is counterbalanced, lockable and fitted with a light; a stainless-steel lid is optional.
Two baskets are included and three fit in total. Cooling is static with manual defrost, a mechanical thermostat for control and a mechanical thermometer for reading. Hammered aluminium inside, white painted steel outside.
