Island displays in supermarkets, grocery stores and pet food shops are built with head cases such as the Tefcold SFI185 HC-CF VS from the SFI range. It runs as a freezer or a cooler depending on its setting and has 500 litres of net volume. Curved sliding glass lids keep the goods fully visible, and energy-efficient LED lighting on the back wall shows them off.

The variable-speed compressor adjusts the temperature only when needed, making the unit approximately 20% more efficient according to the manufacturer. Cooling is static and defrost automatic by hot gas; the false base is adjustable and bumper bars are fitted. The head case holds −24 to −18 °C or −1 to +8 °C in climate class 3 (+25 °C, 60% relative humidity) using R290.

Gross volume 786 litres, display area 1.25 m², interior 1720 × 720 × 627 mm. Energy use 4.31 kWh per 24 h, power 890 W, noise 48 dBA. The unit measures 1856 × 858 × 832 mm, with a net weight of 150 kg and gross weight of 165 kg.
