Description
Designed for low-temperature commercial and industrial refrigeration, the TAJ 2464 Z is a hermetic Tecumseh Europe compressor covering evaporating temperatures of −35…−10 °C (LBP). It runs on R-404a and has a displacement of 34.5 cm³. At nominal EN12900 conditions of −35 °C evaporating, +40 °C condensing, +20 °C suction gas and 10 K subcooling, refrigerating capacity is 637 W and power input 778 W.
It takes a three-phase 400 V / 50 Hz supply; starting current is up to 15.9 A and running current 3.3 A. A shut-off valve is fitted on the suction side, and the brazed connections are 5/8″ (15.9 mm) suction and 3/8″ (9.5 mm) discharge. Height 282 mm; foot mounting 203.2 × 122.2 mm.
The oil type needs to be checked for compatibility with the refrigerant.
