Current stock: 34 units. What makes a suitable wine cellar? A wine cellar should be a dark, enclosed room, away from vibration, noise and strong-smelling substances such as petroleum and paint.
It should be protected from draughts but well ventilated. The recommended temperature for wines is +11...+16°C, kept as stable as possible, with relative humidity around 75%. Wine bottles should be stored horizontally.
One way to create these conditions is to install a Fondis wine-cellar air conditioner and store bottles in shelving made from Le Bloc Cellier modules. The shelving has a balanced, attractive appearance suited to a wine collection. Economical and spacious, the modular units are easy to install and stack.
They interlock without additional glue or mortar. A ribbed base provides a stable, non-slip support for the bottles. No assembly is needed: the units are ready to use.
Robust and durable, they are made from high-quality natural materials with environmental considerations in mind.
