EBC35 Chest fridge

Unlike a chest freezer, the Tefcold EBC35 always holds a positive temperature, so its contents never freeze. It is used by restaurants, cafés, takeaways and bars for soft drinks, beer, fresh produce and other products that cannot tolerate frost. A hinged solid lid gives easy access and has a handle and lock.

Cooling is static, defrosting manual, and a mechanical controller sets the temperature, with a thermometer for checking it. The cabinet is white painted steel with a white ABS interior, and four castors allow it to be moved when needed. Low energy use of 0.58 kWh per 24 h keeps running costs down.

Temperature range +4 to +10 °C, climate class N (+16 to +32 °C), refrigerant R600a, power 165 W, noise 44 dB(A). The gross volume is 278 litres. Outside, the chest is 1096 × 696 × 857 mm and inside 962 × 472 × 686 mm, with a net weight of 44 kg.
