Ice storage bin Scotsman SB 550

Where the ice maker is wide but headroom is limited, the SB 550 fits underneath: it is 1082 mm wide and only 968 mm high. According to the manufacturer it is compatible with, among others, the MXG 427, MXG 428 and MXG 438. This slope-front bin stores cube, flake, nugget and cubelet ice.

The exterior is stainless steel and the insulation polyurethane. The polyethylene liner is dense, corrosion-proof, has rounded corners and stands up to scratches from the ice scoop. Inside there is a scoop holder, the sturdy door frame withstands daily use and the rounded door lip makes taking out ice easier.

Capacity about 252 kg of ice, 197 kg by AHRI. The bin weighs 48 kg (63 kg packed) and measures 1082 × 824 × 968 mm.
