Scotsman began developing affordable ice-making machines in the 1950s and today concentrates solely on ice systems. The European company, Scotsman Ice Srl, is based in Pogliano Milanese near Milan and operates under the management and coordination of Ali Group.

Manufacturing and research facilities are located in the United States, Italy and China, and the products are sold in more than 100 countries.

Product range

Scotsman machines produce many types of ice, including small and medium cubes, gourmet ice, flake, superflake, scale and nugget ice. Alongside the ice makers the range includes ice dispensers, storage bins and cleaning systems.

The equipment is used in hotels, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, fast food outlets, hospitals, laboratories, fisheries and food processing plants.
