Call sales +372 5559 3678The Scotsman MAR 108 SPLIT is a scale ice production head that connects to a remote condensing unit or a central low-temperature system (R452A). It makes up to 650 kg of thin, sub-cooled, dry scale ice per 24 h. No storage bin is included: the head is installed on a separately ordered bin.
The evaporator drum and ice scraper blade are AISI 304 stainless steel, the evaporator compartment has been redesigned, and the container made of food-grade plastic is removable. Electromechanical control includes a diagnostic system, electrical safety features and controlled drum rotation speed.
There is a water supply sensor and a hermetic compressor, and the panels are stainless steel. The head measures 906 × 636 × 520 mm and weighs 95 kg net, 112 kg gross. It is connected to a 400 V / 50 Hz / 3N supply; without the condensing unit it draws 170 W and uses 4 kWh per 24 h.
