Scale ice maker Scotsman MAR 78 SPLIT

The Scotsman MAR 78 SPLIT makes up to 510 kg of thin, sub-cooled, dry scale ice per 24 h. The head connects to a remote condensing unit or a central low-temperature system using R452A and is installed on a separately ordered storage bin. It has an AISI 304 stainless-steel evaporator drum and scraper blade, a newly designed evaporator compartment and a removable food-grade plastic container.

Control is electromechanical, with a diagnostic system, electrical safety features and controlled drum rotation speed. A water supply sensor and hermetic compressor are also fitted. The compact head measures 906 × 636 × 520 mm and weighs 95 kg net (112 kg gross).

Power comes from a 400 V / 50 Hz / 3N supply, and the head alone draws 395 W, excluding the condensing unit. Panels are stainless steel.
