Call sales +372 5559 3678Built for condensing units or central low-temperature systems running on R744 (CO2), the Scotsman MAR 79 SPLIT is a scale ice maker. It produces up to 540 kg of thin, sub-cooled, dry flakes per 24 h. It is a production head only, installed on a separate storage bin.
The evaporator drum and ice scraper blade are AISI 304 stainless steel, the evaporator compartment is newly designed, and the food-grade plastic container is removable. It has electromechanical control with a diagnostic system, electrical safety features and controlled drum rotation speed, plus a water supply sensor and a hermetic compressor.
Measuring 906 × 636 × 520 mm, the head weighs 95 kg net and 105 kg gross. On a three-phase 400 V / 50 Hz / 3N supply it draws 200 W and uses 5 kWh per 24 h without the condensing unit; water use 15 l/h (+32/+21 °C).
