Ice cube maker Scotsman EC 57

The EC 57 is a narrow cube maker from Scotsman's simplified EASY line; at 386 mm wide it fits under even a crowded counter. Its truncated-cone Gourmet cubes weigh 8 g, 20 g or 39 g, and output is up to 33 kg per 24 h at +10 °C air and water, or 25 kg at +32/+21 °C.

The built-in bin holds 11 kg. A PWD pump sends waste water up to 15 metres away, and the XSafe system keeps the machine clean and sanitised automatically. The air-cooled AS version has front airflow, and a water-cooled WS version is also available.

Control is electronic, and the ON/OFF switch is on the front. The stainless-steel housing is 386 mm wide, 600 mm deep and 695 mm high; net weight 39 kg, gross 43 kg. Supply 230 V / 50 Hz, rated power 370 W, refrigerant R290.

Electricity use is 7 kWh per 24 h, and the AS version uses 4 l/h of water.
