Ice storage bin Scotsman SB 948

Holding about 406 kg of ice, the SB 948 is intended for higher-output modular ice makers where a large reserve needs to be on hand. This Scotsman slope-front bin stores cube, flake, nugget and cubelet ice. The cabinet is clad in durable stainless-steel panels, with polyurethane insulation.

The non-corroding polyethylene liner has rounded, easy-to-clean corners and resists scoop scratches. There is a hygienic scoop holder inside, a robust door frame and a rounded door lip that makes reaching the ice easier. Around 406 kg of ice fits in the bin, or 319 kg by AHRI calculation.

At 1238 mm wide, 869 mm deep and 1272 mm high, it weighs 73 kg, or 97 kg packed.
