Ice and water dispenser Scotsman TC 180

In self-service food outlets the Scotsman TC 180 lets customers take ice themselves: it drops straight into the glass with no handling in between. The machine makes and dispenses ice from one cabinet, with an internal store of 5 kg. Nugget ice is compressed flake ice, produced just below zero and then pressed to remove excess water, which leaves a dry, hard piece of about 1 g.

The unit is air-cooled and only 390 mm wide, taking up little counter space. Output 120 kg per 24 h at +10 °C air and water, and 86 kg at +32/+21 °C. Water use 4.2 l/h, energy use 11.5 kWh per 24 h, power 500 W, supply 230 V / 50 Hz.

The unit is 390 mm wide, 600 mm deep and 874 mm high, weighing 64 kg, or 73 kg packed.
