Modular ice cube maker Scotsman NXW 457

The NXW 457 covers restaurant and hotel ice needs of up to 200 kg per day. This Scotsman modular head is installed on a separately ordered bin, comes air- or water-cooled (AS or WS version) and stands only 600 mm high. It uses natural R290 refrigerant (GWP 3, ODP

0) and meets ENERGY STAR and LEED eligibility criteria.

Large air intakes maintain output in hot rooms. The front panel is hinged, internal parts come out without tools, the cleaning cycle is automatic and XSafe sanitises the machine continuously. There is also a delayed automatic start and remote support through the XWave app.

Output is 200 kg per 24 h at +10 °C air and water and 150 kg at +32/+21 °C; 10 g cube, with 6 g and 15 g available. The AS version draws 9 l of water an hour and 18 kWh of electricity per 24 h; electrical power 785 W, supply 230 V / 50 Hz. The head is 767 mm wide, 636 mm deep and 600 mm high, weighing 72 kg (87 kg gross).
