The bin of the Scotsman ACM106AS holds 23 kg, and the machine produces 50 kg of Gourmet cubes per 24 h. The air-cooled AS model makes size M (20 g) or L (39 g) cubes; the water-cooled WS model makes size M only. It has an electromechanical control unit, a front-panel ON/OFF button, an easily removable air filter and an indicator that signals when cleaning is due.
The bin lid opens quietly. A water-connection kit and an ice scoop with holder are part of the standard equipment. A model with a drain pump and a 230 V / 60 Hz version can also be chosen.
Water use is 5.5 l/h for the AS model and 51.5 l/h for the WS model; electricity use 25.8 or 22.7 kWh per 100 kg of ice. Rated power 550 W, refrigerant R134a, supply 230 V / 50 Hz. The stainless-steel cabinet is 530 mm wide and 600 mm deep, with a height of 850/970 mm; net weight 47 kg.
