Ice cube maker Scotsman NU 157

The Scotsman NU 157 is a self-contained dice ice maker with the storage bin built into the cabinet. Air enters and leaves at the front, so the unit can sit under a counter, right where bar staff reach for ice most often. It makes 10 g dice cubes, and the same range includes half-dice (6 g) and large-dice (15 g) versions.

The exterior is stainless steel, ice is reached through a retractable sliding door that lifts with one touch, and the air filter and condenser are accessible from the front for cleaning. A front-panel light signals when maintenance is due, while the XSafe system sanitises the machine automatically and continuously.

At +10 °C air and water the machine makes up to 85 kg of ice per 24 h, falling to 57 kg at +32/+21 °C. The built-in bin holds 20 kg. The cabinet measures 600 mm wide, 610 mm deep and 770 mm high and weighs 54 kg (68 kg packed); power supply 230 V / 50 Hz.
