Producing up to 570 kg of nugget ice per 24 h, the MFN 56 is a modular head installed on a separate bin; at +32/+21 °C output is 390 kg. The small nuggets weigh about 1 g and measure 11 mm across and 13 mm high. A strengthened alloy icebreaker allows greater extrusion pressure, giving ice that is 92% dry.
It has a hermetic compressor, a stainless-steel auger and freezing cylinder, an electronic control board and long-lasting stainless-steel roller bearings. The gear motor and reducer have double protection, while a low-water sensor and optical ice level sensor stop operation when needed.
Rounded scotch-brite panels come off on all four sides, and XSafe sanitises the machine around the clock. The head is 538 × 663 × 794 mm and weighs 103 kg gross, 94 kg net. Rated power 2250 W, electricity use 51 kWh per 24 h and water use of 16.8 l/h for the AS model (+32/+21 °C); refrigerant R452A.
It runs on 230/50/1 or 400/50/3N.
