Ice cube maker Scotsman AC 227

From the Gourmet range, the Scotsman AC 227 is a self-contained cube maker for sites that use a lot of ice and need a large reserve. The built-in bin holds 70 kg, and output reaches 165 kg per 24 h at +10 °C air and water, or 130 kg at +32/+21 °C. Its truncated-cone cubes come in 8 g, 20 g and 39 g sizes.

Air-cooled (AS) and water-cooled (WS) versions are available, and front airflow on the air-cooled model allows it to be installed under a counter. It has electronic control, a front-mounted switch, a flashing Clean Alert light for filter cleaning and a door that closes quietly on rubber pads.

With a footprint of 1078 × 719 mm and a height of 1082 mm, the stainless-steel machine weighs 96 kg net (113 kg gross). Refrigerant R290, supply 230 V / 50 Hz, rated power 1400 W, electricity use 28 kWh per 24 h, and water use of 21 l/h for the AS version.
