Nugget ice maker Scotsman AFC 137

Made from compressed flake ice, nugget or cubelet ice comes in pieces of about 1 g and works well in drinks. The Scotsman AFC 137 produces up to 157 kg per 24 h at +10 °C air and water, or 124 kg at +32/+21 °C, and its built-in bin holds 44 kg. Air-cooled (AS) and water-cooled (WS) versions are available, and front airflow on the air-cooled model allows installation inside a bar counter.

The bin door retracts to make reaching the ice easier, and a hygienic pallet support sits inside the bin. XSafe, an integrated natural sanitising system, works automatically and continuously. The frame is stainless steel.

The machine is 950 mm wide, 605 mm deep and 872 mm high; it weighs 69 kg net and 84 kg gross. Supply 230 V / 50 Hz, rated power 635 W, refrigerant R290. At +32/+21 °C electricity use is 14 kWh per 24 h, and water use for the AS model 6 l/h.
