Ice cube maker Scotsman EC 177

Making Gourmet cubes in three sizes, the Scotsman EC 177 is intended for bars and restaurants that go through tens of kilograms of ice a day. The truncated-cone cubes weigh 8 g, 20 g or 39 g. Output is up to 83 kg at +10 °C air and water, or 61 kg at +32/+21 °C, and the bin holds 48 kg.

The EASY line is a simplified version of the AC machines. This model has electronic control, a front-mounted switch, a PWD water discharge pump with a reach of up to 15 metres and XSafe sanitising that runs automatically and continuously. The air-cooled AS model breathes from the front and suits undercounter use; a water-cooled WS version is also available.

In a stainless-steel cabinet of 680 × 600 × 1079 mm, the machine weighs 61 kg net and 72 kg gross. Refrigerant R290, supply 230 V / 50 Hz, rated power 750 W, electricity use 13 kWh per 24 h, water use 13 l/h for the AS version.
