Flake ice machine Scotsman MF 86

Making up to 2400 kg of Super-Flake ice per 24 h, the MF 86 is aimed at food production and large kitchens with a heavy demand for ice. Output is 2200 kg at +21/+10 °C and 1700 kg at +32/+21 °C. Super-Flake ice contains about 15% water.

The head is installed on a separately ordered bin. Air-cooled AS and water-cooled WS versions are offered. The machine runs on a three-phase supply only, 400/50/3N or 230/50/3.

XSafe keeps it clean and sanitised automatically, and the exterior is stainless steel. According to the manufacturer's sheet, the head measures 1080 × 965 × 1255 mm and weighs 362 kg net. Rated power is 6100 W and the refrigerant R452A.

Water use is 77.1 l/h on the air-cooled model and 416.7 l/h on the water-cooled one.
