Flake ice machine Scotsman MF 88 SPLIT

Only 540 mm wide, the MF 88 SPLIT produces 2500 kg of flake ice per 24 h at both +10 °C and +21/+10 °C, and 1950 kg at +32/+21 °C. It is a split evaporator unit that connects to a remote condensing unit or central low-temperature system (R404A / R452A) and is installed on a separate bin.

The refrigeration capacity required from the system is 8200 W at an evaporating temperature of −24 °C and a condensing temperature of +40 °C. The machine has the XSafe automatic sanitising system and a stainless-steel casing. Per the spec sheet the unit is 540 × 962 × 1254 mm and weighs 223 kg net.

On a three-phase 400/50/3N supply the head draws 250 W without the condensing unit, and water use is 81.3 l/h (+32/+21 °C).
