Ice cube maker Scotsman AC 87

A mid-sized self-contained cube maker, the Scotsman AC 87 is built for bars and restaurants. It produces up to 44 kg of Gourmet ice per 24 h at +10 °C air and water, or 35 kg at +32/+21 °C, stored in a built-in 19 kg bin. The truncated-cone cubes can be made in 8 g, 20 g and 39 g sizes.

There are two versions: air-cooled AS and water-cooled WS. The air-cooled model has front airflow, so it can be installed under a counter. Control is electronic, a Clean Alert light flashes when the filter needs cleaning, and rubber pads dampen the door as it closes.

In stainless steel, the machine measures 531 × 600 × 875 mm and weighs 44 kg net, 51 kg gross. It runs on 230 V / 50 Hz at 570 W with R290 refrigerant. At +32/+21 °C it uses 9 kWh of electricity per 24 h, plus 3 l of water per hour on the AS model.
