The Scotsman SIS 1350 is a large Ice Shuttle storage bin: ice falls from the machine into the storage compartment and is then loaded into a shuttle cart for moving around the kitchen or site. A pre-cut top panel accepts several Scotsman ice makers. Both the storage exterior and the frame are stainless steel, and the storage compartment is sanitary, easy-to-clean polyethylene.
The cart is filled through an easy-opening sliding guillotine. The spring-loaded door is made of durable rotocast plastic, sliding polyethylene windows allow visual checks, and an ice paddle with hanging bracket is supplied as standard. The frame ships as a kit, and its heavy-duty base has a built-in drain with a reversible connection.
The polyethylene shuttle carts have rounded corners, manual water drainage, a wheel and a handlebar; each cart holds 73 kg and comes with a set of 6 ice-carrying totes. The bin holds about 613 kg of ice (481 kg per AHRI). The complete unit is 1753 mm wide, 1267 mm deep and 1803 mm high and weighs 347 kg, or 390 kg packed.
