Cylinder ice maker Hoshizaki IM-240DNE-HC-C

The Hoshizaki IM-240DNE-HC-C makes not cubes but cylinders of ice, 37 mm in diameter and 45 mm high. At about 42 g, each piece is heavier and more solid than a standard cube, which suits drinks meant to stay cold for a long time and gives the glass a distinctive look.

Output reaches 190 kg per 24 h. The low, wide cabinet (1084 × 700 × 500 mm) is stackable, and the machine is installed on a separate storage bin. The air-cooled unit runs on R290, draws 930 W and uses 21.7 litres of water an hour; the housing is AISI 441 stainless steel.
