A curved top door frame sets the Scandomestic DC280BD apart from the usual square-edged drinks cooler. The slim black cabinet fits into a range of shop layouts, and its 258 litres of net capacity are spread over five strong adjustable shelves. An internal fan circulates air through the whole cabinet for quick pull-down and an even temperature.
There is a top LED light, an internal thermometer and a condensation barrier at the bottom front. The right-hinged glass door has an integrated handle, is not reversible and has no lock; the cabinet stands on two adjustable front feet and rear rollers. The mechanical controller covers +1 to +10 °C, and the unit is rated for climate class N (+16 to +32 °C).
It uses 1.89 kWh per 24 h on 220–240 V / 50 Hz. Outside it measures 540 × 560 × 1725 mm, inside 490 × 440 × 1340 mm. The gross volume is 280 litres and the empty cabinet weighs 47 kg.
