Its temperature can be set anywhere from +5 to +18 °C, a higher range than that of a standard fridge. The right-hinged glass door is reversible and has an aluminium handle; there is no lock or interior light.
Inside are three removable wire shelves. Cooling is fan-assisted, with automatic defrost and meltwater evaporation, and an electronic controller with a digital thermometer. The cabinet stands on four adjustable feet.
