The Gram BioCompact II RR210/RF210 stacks two separate cabinets, an RR210 refrigerator and an RF210 freezer, on one 595 × 640 mm footprint. Chilled and frozen material can therefore be kept side by side while taking up the floor space of a single cabinet. Each compartment has a gross volume of 125 litres and a net volume of 104 litres.
Each compartment has its own electronic Gram controller, fan-assisted cooling and automatic defrost with evaporation of the defrost water. Audible and visual alarms warn of high or low temperature and an open door; the controller also offers a voltage-free contact and an offset function, and the thermometer is digital.
The lining is polystyrene, the doors are solid, and a glass door is available as an option. Daily energy use is 0.43 kWh for the RR210 with a solid door, 0.79 kWh with a glass door and 1.47 kWh for the RF210. Refrigerant R600a, noise level 36.1 dBA, ambient range +10…+35 °C with solid doors.
