Chest freezer FOCUS 171

The Elcold FOCUS 171 is a 351-litre display chest for shops selling a wide range of ice cream and frozen goods. Seven wire baskets keep flavours and products separate, and LED lighting at the front makes them easy to see through the glass lids. The frameless curved sliding lids close into the grey frame to form a tight lid system, which the manufacturer says reduces energy use and ice build-up.

The grey inner frame can be used for branding. Cooling is static with a mechanical thermostat and manual defrost; there is a meltwater drain and a fan-assisted condenser. The chest moves on castors, two of which lock.

Operating range −23…−16 °C in climate class 4; R290 refrigerant, 235 W, 2.81 kWh per 24 h and 40 dBA. The 1700 × 650 × 850 mm cabinet provides 351 litres net (484 litres gross), weighs 73 kg net and has no lock.
