Elcold was founded in 1961 and is based in Hobro, Denmark. The company has worked with freezers since the early days of their mass production in Denmark around 1960.
It holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification for quality and environmental management. Elcold products are sold in more than 70 countries, and exports account for over 95% of sales.
Product range
The range covers ice cream and display freezers, supermarket freezers, sushi freezers, display coolers and household freezers.
Elcold also makes low-temperature freezers for laboratories and other uses that require very low storage temperatures. More than 2.5 million Elcold units have been sold worldwide, and the company uses about 720 tonnes of steel a year.
