Description
Tecumseh Europe's TAJ 4517 Z is a hermetic compressor for commercial and industrial refrigeration systems working at medium and high suction pressure (MHBP, −15…+15 °C). It runs on R-404a and needs a three-phase 400 V / 50 Hz supply. Swept volume is 25.95 cm³.
Rated to EN12900 at −10 °C evaporating, +45 °C condensing, +20 °C suction gas and 10 K liquid subcooling, it gives 1804 W of refrigerating capacity for 1182 W of power input. Maximum starting current is 18 A; running current is 4 A. The suction connection is 5/8″ (15.9 mm) and the discharge connection 3/8″ (9.5 mm), both brazed, with a shut-off valve on the suction side.
Height is 282 mm and the mounting feet are spaced 203.2 × 122.2 mm. Check that the oil type suits the refrigerant before installation.
