ATEX laboratory refrigerator ExGuard ER600W

The Gram BioLine ExGuard ER600W is a laboratory refrigerator for substances and items that may emit noxious or explosive vapours. The cabinet connects to the building ventilation and is extracted before the door can be opened. According to the manufacturer it complies with ATEX Category 3, Zone 2, both inside and outside.

The ExGuard extraction controller releases the chamber only after safe extraction. Cooling is fan-assisted, defrost is automatic and the defrost water is evaporated. Audible and visual alarms warn of high or low temperature, and the thermometer is digital.

The interior is stainless steel; the cabinet has legs and castors and a solid door, with a glass door available as an option. Gross volume 614 litres, net 486 litres, temperature range −2…+20 °C. Refrigerant R290, noise level 46.3 dBA, electrical power 316 W and energy use of 1.62 kWh per 24 h.
