Six sliding drawers with the Flexspace system come as standard in the KAGL6HCL, so ice cream pans or containers are pulled out rather than lifted from racks. The single-door freezer works at −24…−12 °C with 682 litres gross and 538 litres net, in ambient temperatures up to 40 °C.

The one-piece AISI 304 structure has rounded internal corners and a diamond-treated bottom. Fan-assisted cooling uses an evaporator outside the compartment, and defrost is by hot gas only when needed. The electronic control board has HACCP alarms and Hyper Cold; with the optional APOLINK accessory the freezer can be controlled remotely over an Ethernet network, with HACCP data history.

Lock and LED lighting are standard. Energy consumption 8.11 kWh/24 h, class D, EEI 71.8, 2960 kWh a year. R290 (0.15 kg), 935 W at −23.3 °C, 1100 W on 230 V.
