Its glass lids keep ice cream or other frozen goods visible, and it is designed for frequent daily opening while keeping the correct temperature. The straight sliding glass lids have a lock.
The freezer has static cooling, manual defrost and a mechanical controller, plus a digital temperature display. The hammered aluminium interior takes up to five small or three large extra baskets; the white steel cabinet sits on castors and is easy to move.
