Description

Compact enough to fit beneath a work bench, the Vestfrost F-138i is an undercounter freezer for medicine and biological samples where space is limited. The ETR-System (Extended Temperature Range) lets it run anywhere from −25 to −5 °C, so the setting can match the content or save energy.

The self-closing solid door stays open beyond 90°, is reversible and locks. Inside are two full shelves and one half shelf in perforated stainless steel, LED lighting and an ATEX-protected interior (3G nA B T6). Fan-assisted Dual Air Stream cooling with Adaptive Cooling Technology adjusts cooling power to the situation; defrost is automatic.

The i-Care controller has a 5-inch touch screen, a built-in data logger and USB download. It alarms on high or low temperature, door open, power failure and probe failure, with 24 h battery backup and a dry contact for a remote alarm. Net volume 117 litres, energy use 1.419 kWh per 24 h at −25 °C, pull-down to −20 °C in 70 min.
