The Hoshizaki FM-150AKE-HC-SB is a modular flake ice head without a bin of its own; it is combined with a separately ordered B-140SB, B-210SB or B-340SB storage bin. It makes up to 150 kg of flake ice per 24 h for restaurants, hotels and shops. Flake ice is produced by an auger system, so water consumption matches the amount of ice made.
The unit is air-cooled, the housing is stainless steel, and it runs on the natural refrigerant R290, which has a global warming potential (GWP) of 3. Output depends on conditions: up to 150 kg at +10 °C air and water, 125 kg at +21/+15 °C and 105 kg at +32/+21 °C per 24 h.
Water consumption 6.25 l/h, electrical power 405 W, single-phase 220–240 V / 50 Hz supply, refrigerant charge 0.11 kg. The head measures 560 × 700 × 780 mm and weighs 63 kg.
