Description
For low-temperature systems such as frozen-food retail, warehouses or industry, Tecumseh Europe makes the SIL 2440 Z outdoor condensing unit. Part of the Silensys range, it is ready to install and built for outdoor use; suction range LBP −40…−10 °C, refrigerants R-404a and R-507.
A receiver, liquid sight glass, filter drier and crankcase heater are factory-fitted. Controls consist of an HBP/LBP dual pressure switch, a fan-speed controller and a compressor contactor, wired to the internal panel. The housing is lockable, a main switch is fitted, and brackets allow vertical or horizontal installation.
Refrigerating capacity to EN13215 is 531 W with 564 W power input (20 °C superheat, 3 K subcooling). Single-phase 220–240 V / 50 Hz; the running current is 2.5 A and peaks at 4.9 A. Airflow 1600 m³/h, receiver 1.5 l.
Sound power 61 dBA, noise 30 dBA at 10 m and 36 dBA at 5 m. Connections 1/2″ (12 mm) and 1/4″ (6 mm).
