Description
Ready for outdoor installation, the SIL 2464 Z belongs to Tecumseh Europe's Silensys range and is intended for low-temperature refrigeration in the LBP range of −40…−10 °C. It works with R-404a or R-507 on a single-phase 220–240 V / 50 Hz supply. The unit contains a receiver, sight glass, filter drier, crankcase heater, HBP/LBP dual pressure switch, fan-speed controller and contactor.
The electrics are pre-wired to the internal panel of the lockable housing, which also holds the main switch; brackets allow upright or horizontal mounting. Speed control, aerodynamic fan blades and compressor-compartment insulation make for quieter running. Refrigerating capacity to EN13215 is 956 W with a power input of 880 W, at 20 °C superheat and 3 K subcooling.
Current draw is 4.1 A rated and 7.9 A maximum. Airflow 1600 m³/h; receiver 1.5 l. Sound power 63 dBA; noise level 32 dBA at 10 m and 38 dBA at 5 m.
Brazed connections 1/2″ (12 mm) and 3/8″ (10 mm).
