Description
The Tecumseh Europe SIL 2446 Z is an outdoor condensing unit for low-temperature refrigeration (LBP −40…−10 °C) with R-404a or R-507. As a Silensys unit it leaves the factory ready for outdoor installation and suits freezer systems in shops, warehouses, fish shops and industry.
Equipment includes a refrigerant receiver, sight glass, filter drier, crankcase heater and HBP/LBP dual pressure switch. The fan-speed controller and compressor contactor are wired with the rest of the electrics to the internal panel. A lockable housing, main switch and brackets for upright or horizontal mounting are standard.
Optional extras are a manual-reset dual pressure switch and a receiver with relief valve. To EN13215 the unit gives 711 W of refrigerating capacity and draws 667 W (20 °C superheat, 3 K subcooling). Supply 220–240 V / 50 Hz; running current 4.5 A, maximum 6.0 A.
Airflow 1600 m³/h, receiver 1.5 l. Sound power 62 dBA; noise 31 dBA at 10 m and 37 dBA at 5 m. Brazed connections: 1/2″ (12 mm) suction, 3/8″ (10 mm) liquid.
