Description
The three-phase (400 V / 50 Hz) Silensys SIL 2480 Z_3P outdoor unit covers the low-temperature LBP range of −40…−10 °C. Set up at the factory for outdoor installation, it works with R-404a or R-507 and suits frozen-goods storage in supermarkets, warehouses, butchers and industry.
The unit includes a 2.35-litre receiver, sight glass, filter drier, crankcase heater, HBP/LBP dual pressure switch, fan-speed controller and compressor contactor. Wiring to the internal panel is done at the factory, the housing has a lock and main switch, and the mounting brackets allow vertical or horizontal fixing.
To limit noise, fan speed is controlled, the blades are aerodynamically shaped and the compressor compartment is sound-insulated. Refrigerating capacity to EN13215 is 1263 W with 1257 W power input (20 °C superheat, 3 K subcooling; figures for the single-phase unit).
Rated running current 3.0 A, maximum 4.8 A. Airflow 3500 m³/h. Sound power 63 dBA; at −35 °C evaporating the noise level is 33 dBA at 10 m and 39 dBA at 5 m.
