Built to fit beneath a work bench, the Vestfrost VTS 098 suits places where space is limited. Its ETR-System (Extended Temperature Range) runs between −86 and −20 °C, so cooling can be matched to the need or turned down to save energy. The 92-litre chamber holds 72 two-inch cryoboxes.
The stainless-steel interior has three shelves and LED lighting, the chamber is ATEX-protected, and the insulation includes vacuum insulated panels (VIP). The lockable solid door is not reversible, depth including the handle is 695 mm, and there is a vacuum release port.
Static cooling, manual defrost, refrigerant Nature R (109 g). Electronic controller with digital display and data logger, with USB download; alarms for temperature, door open, power failure and probe failure, plus a dry contact and 24 h battery backup. Pull-down to −75 °C in 168 min, hold-over 102 min to −60 °C, uniformity ±2.0 °C, 6.562 kWh per 24 h at −82 °C, probe port Ø 14.5 mm.
